Hello Everyone! Did you know that the 17th was "Ditch Your New Year's Resolutions" day? I have to laugh because it's about 3 weeks after the new year has started and that is probably as long as it would take to have the resolutions you are trying to keep start to drive you crazy. I feel guilt free though as I did not make any resolutions so I have none to ditch! Today, I am resolved though to bring you this great outfit from Posh Pixels called, "Samba" in Riverside, which is this deep blue jewel tone. The top is cropped and sleeveless with a centralized zipper, the pants done with layers of ruffles and cinched at the waist with an oversized buckle and wide belt. It does look like a fitting outfit to go dancing in hence the name "Samba", so I may have to get my guy to take me out. Of course when dancing I'll need to slip on these comfortable but stylish shoes I'm holding. The "Adrianna" style looks perfect, created by Trinity Yazimoto for Petit Chat. This shoe comes in versions for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza as well as an unrigged pair. Skip wearing a base with these shoes and they will fit perfectly. They come with a HUD that allows you to change the sole and strap textures. They come in a variety of colors, I'm showing the Fawn below, and they are currently available at Marvelous Events at a discounted rate. Designer Showcase is celebrating it's 6th anniversary this year and this round is packed full of goodies. I picked up the "Diana Jewelry Set" by Moondance Boutique, which I'm wearing here. This set comes with necklace, earrings, bracelets and ring. There are a variety of each to choose from so it's a very full set that's super versatile. As always with Moondance there is a HUD available for texture change options. I've selected to show you the Lapis Blue and Flame choices because I think it compliments the blue of the outfit. On my nails I'm wearing the "Christmas Carol Gold Nail Applier" by La Boheme. It comes in versions for Slink, Maitreya and Omega. I've included the color choices on the HUD below so you can see what's available. I'm also wearing the very stunning and natural looking lipstick called, "Athens Set 4" by La Boheme also. With just the right amount of sheen and rich color this lipstick is fast becoming a favorite. Made for the Gwen Catwa Mesh Head, you can wear these with any Catwa Head and they will still look phenomenal. I've included a photo of the color choice HUD for these below as well. My selection of hairdo is called, "London" by Wasabi Pills available now at Ultra. With casual longer layers and fun bangs MissAllSunday Lemon has done her usual fantastic job. I think this look came out very well don't you? Till next time... Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

Hi Everyone! With all the parties for the new year, it's wonderful that InspirationSL has Hollywood Glam as it's theme this round. ArisAris couldn't have done it better with the stunning, plunging neckline and daring, backless "Shimmering Gown". Only the delicate glint of a gold chain can be seen laying across the sultry skin of your back. The bodice has an exaggerated scalloped bottom that leads to a soft, flowing silk skirt. The gown comes in standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza Mesh Bodies. With this beautiful dress I'm wearing another wonderful find from this round of InspirationSL called, "Lauren" by IT! It's a very flattering, sleek and sexy hairdo that I've worn here in one of the sumptuous red colors available in the fatpack. This look is right at home on the red carpet complimented by Apple Spice Poses. I think it does justice to the InspirationSL couple, Bogart and Bacall. If you haven't been over there yet be sure you make time to do so before next Sunday. Don't miss this amazing round! See you there! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:
Hair: Lauren by IT! (Available at InspirationSL) Gown: Shimmering Gown by ArisAris (Available at InspirationSL) Poses: Apple Spice Location: Private Studio Hi All! Last day of POE 9, can you believe how fast December went? I'm wearing two of my favorite finds from there today for you. This gorgeous taffeta gown in an amazing shade of sea green with an almost iridescent quality to the texture, given to us by SAS and this stunning jewelry in a beautiful shade of aqua from Beloved Jewelry. You don't want to miss this dress! This simple silhouette with deep v-neckline and spaghetti straps moves from fitted form to gentle flair just below the hips. The jewelry features brilliant cut gems surrounded by delicate silver. The set includes a necklace, earrings and a ring. I've chosen to wear a wind blown short hairdo by Rezology called, "Moonbeam". This finger tousled style has razor cut edges and uneven lengths that allow for a modern windblown look. I love the feature that allows you to tint to any color needed with this brand. I'm wearing the "Magical Nail Applier" by IP Nails. You can see the color choices on the photo of the HUD shown below. I'm also wearing the fabulous "Glossy Eyeshadow" by Deesses. The #5 shade is the perfect match to my dress and jewelry. I just love the way this evening look turned out. Now I just need to find the perfect place or occasion to wear it. I'm thinking the upcoming gallery opening my significant other is planning. For now I'm off to get some RL things done for tonight, New Year's Eve! Happy New Year Readers! A safe, healthy, joyous and prosperous year for all! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

InspirationSL is going on and what a round it is! It's all about classic Hollywood glamour with a spotlight on Bogie and Bacall. Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were quite an item and one of Hollywood's super couples. One of the best love stories ever during the golden age of Hollywood! Element has paid homage to this great actress in this fabulous gown called. "The Lauren Gown". The gown comes in Fitmesh sizes as well as versions for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza. Element has also done the matching "Lauren Evening Wrap". The gown features a decorative silver applique which serves to hold the draped silk waist band that falls gently over the hips. It comes with a HUD allowing you a choice of three colors. I'm showing Emerald Green here in the photos below. With this gorgeous ensemble I chose a sleek but full bob from Rezology called, "Sky 290". This and others new designs of theirs are Bento Head ready and should fit perfectly if you just follow the simple guide instructions included. It fit just right with my "Jessica Mesh Head" by Catwa. I was able to use the Catwa supplied make-up appliers to get just the right shade of blush and lip color. I chose to wear the "Cracked Nail Applier" by IP Nails. I've included a photo of the HUD below so you can see the color choices available in the set. They are offered in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and Omega versions. I think they helped set off the pop of color in my spectacular necklace by Moondance Boutique called, "Nina". This necklace is breathtaking and available as a gift to group members so no excuses! Don't miss it! The poses I chose to use for the top two photos are on sale at InspirationSL. They are called "Hollywood Glam Poses" by Luane's World and they come with the clutch purse as a prop. There is something to be said about that era and the beautiful clothing and accessories that both women and men had available to them. I do miss dressing up for things in RL. With few exceptions there really isn't a formal dress code for most RL events anymore. It's nice to think of an age when it was all about looking elegant and dressed to the nines for special events. If you haven't been over to InspirationSL do make the time to go. Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Style Credits:

I was choosing my New Year's Eve dress and I found the perfect one at Designer Showcase. It's the "Glamour Dress" by Liziaah. This scoop neck long sleeve sheath dress accentuates the curves ending at mid-thigh. It's sexy and classy, and the texture is sublime! The upper part of the dress is covered with sequins that scroll in an elegant pattern down both arms and trim the hemline. It comes in several colors, I'm showing the copper in the photos below. It's a wonderful choice for women with warm skin tones and those that fit into the autumnal seasons palette. It comes with standard mesh sizes with alpha for classic avatars as well as with versions for TMP, Slink, Maitreya and Belleza Mesh Bodies. With it I'm wearing KC Couture shoes called, "Sylvia Heels". KC Couture is becoming one of my favorites for shoes for a variety of reasons. They are reasonably priced, there is lots of variety and each pair has all the popular mesh body versions. Klari55a Resident is the genius behind this brand and I think they are definitely going in the right direction. I love the extensive color change HUD that comes with each pair as well. It allows you to choose different parts of the shoe so you could match everything marvelously! My hair is the pulled back updo from Damselfly called, "Adette". It caught my eye and went well with the dress. The necklace is the "Euridice Necklace" by Moondance Boutique. This gorgeous necklace is available at the store as part of the Advent Calendar. Kathrin Dassin provided this very generous calendar with a new gift a day from the 1st until the 25th for group members. So if you are a member or wish to join hurry there to do so. There is plenty of good reason! With my New Year's Eve look I'm wearing the Catwa head called, "Jessica". It's a favorite for sure, with it's full lips, high cheekbones and strong slightly aquiline nose, it appeals to my Italian model aesthetic. I accented it's great beauty with Catwa applier make-up from La Boheme. The "Athena Lip Applier" in gold for Catwa for my lips and the "Bethany Eyeshadow Applier" for Catwa by La Boheme for my eyes. On my nails I'm wearing "Northern Wind Gold Nail Applier" by La Boheme. I'm including photos of the HUDS below so you can see all the available color choices in each set. Styling Credits:

I absolutely adore the traditional style cocktail party. The one with several types of featured cocktails and well thought out appetizers. The kind of party where guests gather in small groups and make their way around the room, chatting and mingling. It's the kind of party where you could come even for an hour to make an appearance and everyone would know you were there. Unfortunately throwing a good cocktail party seems to be a dying art. It's only around the holidays where I see some hope and I hang onto it diligently for the rest of the year. That's why in Second Life I love to receive an invitation to a cocktail party! On SL there is the mingling and chatting I long for while holding a long stem glass and always with such interesting people from around the world. So when I received an invite to a holiday cocktail party from a friend I was delighted to attend. What to wear? I thought as I strolled into the dream walk-in closet I created on SL. The one I will never be able to afford in RL lol. I decided on something that looked fantastic even getting to the party. This beaded dress and fur jacket from Prism was just the thing. The "Remi Beaded Cocktail Dress" comes in a variety of colors and is available in fatpacks. I'm wearing the Sage Green. It comes in the traditional sizes of Fitmesh with an alpha as well as versions for the Maitreya, Belleza and Slink Mesh bodies. I'm wearing the Belleza version in the photos. The very deep cowl neckline drapes beautifully in the front and back. It dips down daringly and will definitely have heads turning in your direction. Of course it's cold out this time of year so slipping into the warm fur jacket that comes with it was perfect! The "Remi Beaded Cocktail Dress with Fur Jacket" by Prism is available now at Designer Showcase. With the dress I chose to wear the "Azken Heels" by Loovus. These heels have peek-a-boo side panels and laced up ankles. They come in a variety of colors and I suggest if it's within your budget you purchase a fatpack of these lovely shoes as they are something you will wear with everything from jeans to your power suits. They are offered in Slink, Maitreya and Belleza versions. The Azken Heels by Loovus are available now at this round of Designer Showcase. If you follow my blog then you know I've been having fun playing with different mesh heads and finding out which skins go best with each. I do really enjoy the way the mesh heads photograph and so for blogging purposes I see no reason not to use them and enjoy the different looks. The one I'm wearing today is from Eye Candi and it's called, "Brooklyn". Now that I'm getting used to mesh heads I can't wait to try the Bento versions. Finally I'll be able to have a mesh head that looks like me! Unfortunately since many still do not have updated viewers it will be some time before they are accepted in the modeling world on the runway. Getting ready for my party I realized I needed to spice up my look with some jewelry so I turned to Moondance Boutique I found just what I was looking for in the "Eileen Necklace, Earrings and Ring". This set is available for the remainder of today as part of the Candy Cane 8 Hunt. The HUD allows plenty of choices for the metal and opal cabochons. My hair is the lovely side parted bob from Vanity Hair called, "Miss Coco". Last but not least I chose "Christmas Nail Applier" from IP Nails, which features a palette of silver, gold and red with green. I've included a photo of the HUD so you can see the choices available for you. The nails are available in Maitreya, Slink and Omega appliers. It's available as a fatpack with all three options for only $120L at the Premium Only Event until January 7th. I was pretty pleased with the final look and am all ready to head to the cocktail party. I stopped outside for a few quick photos against the snowy backdrop of the Liebe Sim. As I stepped out of sight I called out, "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and to all a good night!" As busy as this time always finds us I hope everyone has had a chance to participate in the Peace On Earth Hunt. There are some amazing things, so hopefully you can make time. I am modeling for you today the "Peace on Earth Gown" by Ghee. Done in the most delicate shade of shell pink, this gown features a plunging v-neckline with peek-a-boo opening in back, a high-waist, gathered band of a complementary fabric and a long, graceful skirt that flows to the floor. The materials used reflect the light so you can clearly see the moire fabric used for the gown and almost knit texture used for the wide band that falls from below the breasts to the top of the hip. This dress is offered in the standard sizes of mesh with alpha but I am wearing the Belleza Venus Mesh Body and it can be worn with that as well. I'm wearing the Lotte Head by Lelutka for reference. The hairdo is called "Amy" by Letituier. It's available at this month's SWANK. It's a pony tail with a full slightly teased top and tightly drawn up sides. Gotta love a hairstyle that shows off jewelry and doesn't interfere with your shoulder or collars on your clothing. With this gown I'm wearing the exquisite "Krissy Jewelry Set" by Moondance Boutique. I'm in love with this set as it can be worn for both a day and evening look. It's sleek, modern and totally on trend. Kathrin Dassin has done a marvelous job! "Krissy" is available at the Comhar Hollidaze Hunt, click on the link below for more information. Last but not least I'm wearing the "Winter Wedding Nails" applier by IP Nails. Such a delicate and pretty design! I've included a photo of the HUD below so you can see the choices available to you. Till next time! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

I was remembering Christmas as a child this morning. I'd be all excited and comfy in something like Ever An' Angel's "Sheep Shirt and Slippers", sipping hot chocolate or the treat of a frothy cappuccino and sitting by the Christmas Tree waiting to open presents. So when I put the "Sheep Shirt and Slippers" on I was instantly transported back in time. I love the sweetness and ease of the set, shown here in red. Especially with the cute little sheep print. Ever Courtois has done a fantastic job and it's available now at the SL Christmas Expo. I'm also wearing the very sexy and full hairdo, "Leven" by Damselfly. This swept up on the sides, layered style looks like you just woke with that very hot bed head hair. The side swept bang over one eye only adds to the appeal. I've poured myself a cup of coffee and I'm ready to open presents but wait, it's not Christmas yet! In that case I'll have to curl up with my favorite blanket on the couch and watch some awesome movies. Last but not least, I'm wearing a new applier called, "Camille" by LAQ for my "Maxine Mesh Head" also by LAQ. I am still having loads of fun trying on different mesh heads and finding great combinations of appliers. Who knew mesh could be so fun? Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

I hope everyone is doing their shopping at the 6th annual Christmas Expo, held this year from Dec 1st - 12th, 2016. it's a huge event that raises funds for Relay for Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). What I love is that 100% of registration fees, sponsorship fees, kiosk donations, hunt, raffle, auction, and vendor donation items are paid to RFL of SL! This year the theme is "Home for the Holidays". Picture a small town decorated to the brim for the holidays, spanning 4 regions you can find whatever you need here. Be sure to catch the dance performances and auctions. Don't forget to stop by and build a snowman or go ice skating, oh and you can pick up your Christmas tree here too! You can find more information about RFL of SL visiting Relayforlifeofsecondlife.org I couldn't wait to show you this gown from Glitter called, "Helena". This soft, flowing deep v-neck gown falls to the floor accented by a simple sash about the waist that matches the draped cape attached at the back of the dress. The colors are muted and soft with beiges, grey-blues, pinks and pearls. It's an elegant and timeless look for the holiday that I couldn't pass up. I've chose to wear it with a favorite jewelry set from my inventory called, "Medea" by Dark Moon. This stunning set in silver comes with bracelets, armbands and a necklace. I added the "Vintage Chanel Clip On Earrings" in Silver by Boojhetto. I wanted something very beautiful that went with the spirit of the dress for my hair so I chose "Zola with Beads" by EMO-tions. This lovely hairstyle features cornrow braids fastened with silver beads and piled up high on my head. I'm sporting the "Maxine Mesh Head" by LAQ. I'm wearing a pretty make up applier, called Olivia by Belleza. It features a soft pink shadowed eye and matching very natural pink lip. It was just what I was looking for to complete the look. I feel very pretty and can't wait to wear this outfit out to just the right occasion! Can you imagine this is just one of the goodies to be found at the Christmas Expo! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Hi Fashionistas! If you are in the U. S. you are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Whether it's cooking, shopping, or hanging out having drinks with friends it's all part of the fun of getting ready! After working all day I slipped into this great little black dress for some fun at the local pub with friends. The "Mia Dress" is by Pink Ice Boutique and is part of the Witches Wear Prada Event. The fitted strapless bodice has exaggerated points and is trimmed with mini sequins around the top. It flares into a multi-layered short full skirt trimmed with bits of black lace and netting. The dress is offered in the standard mesh sizes with alpha as well versions for Physique and Maitreya Mesh Bodies. With this fabulous dress I wanted something super special as far as footwear to dance and mingle so I selected the new "Laura Heels" by MonaLisa. These high heel pumps come with fun and flirty thigh-high stockings. The HUD offered has endless choices of different combinations and colors. I just fell in love! For my outfit I kept it all dark but in the photo below you will see just how many choices you have available to you. The "Laura Heels" are available for all three versions of the Belleza Mesh Body as well as Maitreya, Physique, TMP and Tonic Mesh Bodies. The bold jewelry I'm wearing makes a statement and I love big jewelry pieces with a presence. Now who else but Chop Zuey would bring us this lovely set called, "Moksha". Belle Roussel has done a lovely twist on the classic pearl, entwining strand after strand into a glorious choker, bracelet and earrings. It's a great set that comes with a texture change HUD allowing for several options. I settled for the cranberry red color and I think it sets my outfit off fantastically. Thank you for another wonderful set Belle! The "Moksha" set is available now at Designer Showcase until the end of the month. I felt a bit wild after dressing and didn't want a prim and proper updo so I chose the long, flowing locks of "Selma" by EMO-tions. Mirja Mills did a fantastic job creating a sexy, tousled style with a center part. I love how the hair streams down my back and leaves my shoulders free and unencumbered. It's the perfect style for my mood! "Selma" is available now at this round of Hairology. You may also have noticed I'm wearing my mesh heads a lot for blogging. I'm enjoying showing off the make up options and taking advantage of the expressions available. Here I'm wearing the "Leda" head by Lelutka. I'm all set to have some fun, so off I go for now. If you are in the U.S. have a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits
