Greetings Everyone! My friend Anna has that special talent of being able to wear anything. She can make a paper bag look good. So when we attended the black-tie preview of the Philadelphia Auto Show benefiting the Children's Hospital, where guests dined and danced among the finest automobiles in the world, she rocked a short sequin dress in a room full of gowns. Her very sexy dress was very like the one I'm wearing here from Prism called, "Karen". I'm wearing the black but it comes in other colors as well. There are options for Fitmesh as well as Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza Mesh Bodies. It's a simple spaghetti strap mini dress but it's flawlessly executed by Jezzixa Cazalet. The coat falls from one shoulder in that easy and effortless way and adds another layer to your SL wardrobe. It's the most natural thing in the world to throw your coat over one shoulder as you twist the stem of your martini glass between your fingers and feign a look of boredom at yet another charity affair. Secretly though, you are dying to hop behind the wheels of the exotic cars for photos and flirt madly with the very cute cater waiters. "Karen" makes you look the sophisticated and worldly woman through and through, even if you are just a naive, easily impressed newbie on the scene. I love the little extra touch of the strap falling down off of one shoulder but the best part of "Karen" is the luxurious mink coat in a rich brown that comes with it. With my "Karen" dress I wore my "Imelda Heels" in Red by MonaLisa. The swirling red straps are complimented by the entwined metal heels. It comes in versions for Slink High Feet and for the Belleza Mesh Body. Not a lot of jewelry was needed for this look but one bold necklace called, "777" by Mandalay filled the neckline perfectly. The red stones of "777" picks up the splash of red in the shoes as does the gold. Lastly I don this fabulous do by EMO-tions called, "Melanie". Parted in the middle the sleek long layers curve slightly framing my face and resting beautifully on the collar of my mink. Look out Anna, I think I am pulling it off!

Hello Readers! I'm sipping my coffee, going over my mail, mentally reviewing my week and I smile when I realize that I have a date to go see the artwork of Miss Emily Brett Lukens. She is a fantastic artist that uses resources from nature to create drawings and paintings that represent close up and far away views of the earth. Her non-representational images are layers of texture combining acrylic paint, oil stick and collage mediums creating tension and unique patterns. Images appear when the color resonates through the layered surfaces making them glow. You can see a photo of Emily working below. Her work is so different and creative! I'm very excited to see her latest collection. Now how to decide what to wear, I wish I possessed my Second Life wardrobe in Real Life but alas I do not. However it doesn't stop me from daydreaming and so I decide to dress up for my date to see Miss Emily. I decided on this striking strapless sheath dress by Snowpaws, called "Gentille" and I chose the Poppy color. It skims the body and is decorated with a large and lovely hip flower. It comes in Regular and Fitted Mesh as well as versions for the Slink Mesh Bodies. I'm wearing it with the Belleza Mesh Body and it fits fine. It's available at this round of Designer Showcase so be sure not to miss it. My exaggerated bob is called, "Novak" by Vanity Hair. I love the extra body and fullness. I decided on the "Nancy Earrings and Necklace" by Moondance to compliment the dress. This Y style necklace features large pear shape gems in graduating sizes surrounded by smaller gems. The set comes with the usual color change HUD allowing for not only gem color changes but metal color changes as well. It's also available at this round of Designer Showcase. I slipped on these very sexy shoes called, "Jhamin Ruby Heels" by Shoenique Designs also at Designer Showcase. They are available for Slink High Feet. Lastly my poses are from Posesion. A very fine outfit to see the art exhibition of Emily Brett Lukens if I do say so myself! See you soon! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

I love sweater dresses! I always have with their light to heavy weight knit material and infinite number of colors and textures. They are a winter staple for me. They are also super comfortable and can take you from day into night. If you love sweater dresses in your real life like I do, breathable cotton knits are best. The decorative pointelle stitching plus the ribbed off the shoulder collar, cuff and bottom trim make this sweater dress called, "Daize" by L.A. Bos something special. It's available at Marvelous Events and comes with a color change HUD offering you several options. I adore this orchid pink color and its so flattering on most skin tones. I fell in love with these amazing heels at Designer Showcase called, the "Fabiola Heels" by KC Couture. They come with the KC Couture signature HUD that allows you to change different parts of the shoe to customize them to what you are wearing. It's a good thing I can keep my shoe addiction in check using SL or I'd be broke! Also available at Marvelous Events is this gorgeous necklace and earrings called "Dianna" by Semi-Precious. This set comes in various stone colors and the scroll work is just beautiful. Quixotic Criss always makes her jewelry look not only lovely but believable. This set is something you could very easily see yourself owning in the real world. I'm wearing the malachite version, which is the perfect shade of green. Wanting to show off my jewelry and my sexy off the shoulder dress, I chose this updo by Boon called, "Lab 031". Large swirls pinned in place with some loose tendrils make it the perfect hairdo to frame my face and highlight the fantastic makeup I'm wearing. The eyeshadow comes with an applier for Catwa and Lelutka Mesh Heads as well as tattoo layers for classic avatars. It also comes in an Omega version as well. Did you know that the 17th was "Ditch Your New Year's Resolutions" day? I have to laugh because it's about 3 weeks after the new year has started and that is probably as long as it would take to have the resolutions you are trying to keep start to drive you crazy. I feel guilt free though as I did not make any resolutions so I have none to ditch! Today, I am resolved though to bring you this great outfit from Posh Pixels called, "Samba" in Riverside, which is this deep blue jewel tone. The top is cropped and sleeveless with a centralized zipper, the pants done with layers of ruffles and cinched at the waist with an oversized buckle and wide belt. It does look like a fitting outfit to go dancing in hence the name "Samba", so I may have to get my guy to take me out. Of course when dancing I'll need to slip on these comfortable but stylish shoes I'm holding. The "Adrianna" style looks perfect, created by Trinity Yazimoto for Petit Chat. This shoe comes in versions for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza as well as an unrigged pair. Skip wearing a base with these shoes and they will fit perfectly. They come with a HUD that allows you to change the sole and strap textures. They come in a variety of colors, I'm showing the Fawn below, and they are currently available at Marvelous Events at a discounted rate. Designer Showcase is celebrating it's 6th anniversary this year and this round is packed full of goodies. I picked up the "Diana Jewelry Set" by Moondance Boutique, which I'm wearing here. This set comes with necklace, earrings, bracelets and ring. There are a variety of each to choose from so it's a very full set that's super versatile. As always with Moondance there is a HUD available for texture change options. I've selected to show you the Lapis Blue and Flame choices because I think it compliments the blue of the outfit. On my nails I'm wearing the "Christmas Carol Gold Nail Applier" by La Boheme. It comes in versions for Slink, Maitreya and Omega. I've included the color choices on the HUD below so you can see what's available. I'm also wearing the very stunning and natural looking lipstick called, "Athens Set 4" by La Boheme also. With just the right amount of sheen and rich color this lipstick is fast becoming a favorite. Made for the Gwen Catwa Mesh Head, you can wear these with any Catwa Head and they will still look phenomenal. I've included a photo of the color choice HUD for these below as well. My selection of hairdo is called, "London" by Wasabi Pills available now at Ultra. With casual longer layers and fun bangs MissAllSunday Lemon has done her usual fantastic job. I think this look came out very well don't you? Till next time... Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

With all the parties for the new year, it's wonderful that InspirationSL has Hollywood Glam as it's theme this round. ArisAris couldn't have done it better with the stunning, plunging neckline and daring, backless "Shimmering Gown". Only the delicate glint of a gold chain can be seen laying across the sultry skin of your back. The bodice has an exaggerated scalloped bottom that leads to a soft, flowing silk skirt. The gown comes in standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza Mesh Bodies. With this beautiful dress I'm wearing another wonderful find from this round of InspirationSL called, "Lauren" by IT! It's a very flattering, sleek and sexy hairdo that I've worn here in one of the sumptuous red colors available in the fatpack. This look is right at home on the red carpet complimented by Apple Spice Poses. I think it does justice to the InspirationSL couple, Bogart and Bacall.
