The background for this picture reminds me of a street in London, where I spent a fun afternoon poking around in dusty little shops uncovering treasures like lovely costume jewelry and leather bound books. I remember I wore a summer dress not unlike the one I chose to blog for you today. This silk halter top, empire waist-ed dress is from Marquesse for the Let's Summer Event. The top and handkerchief hemline are done in a solid cranberry and the skirt a floral print on soft black. I found the perfect shoe to wear with the dress at this round of Designer Showcase. It's from Lindy and it's called "Bailee". This shoe is exclusive to the Designer Showcase and also comes in tan. The jewelry I'm wearing is from Luminesse, available at this round of SWANK, it's called "Kosazana Lustra Gold". It's a gorgeous set with detailed scroll work, luminous droplets and lustrous main stones. I've kept my hair simple, wearing "Chanel" by Oleander. A style that draws the sides back with a pin and lets the rest of the gentle waves cascade over the back and down one shoulder. I love exploring these great events just as I do the hidden away shops, it's guaranteed you will always come away with some goodies.
Till next time....
