Greetings Everyone! There are days I just can't get excited about going to the gym no matter what I do. Even if I try to bribe myself with the promise of chocolate it's a struggle! I have to say though if I had an outfit as cute as the "Patty Hoodie and Leggings" by Prism I would be tempted to show it off. The cute cropped hoodie comes in pink, white or black and tops a spandex bralet. The leggings, also spandex have the sexiest peek-a-boo cutouts and feature a paint splash print to liven them up. They come in standard Fitmesh sizes as well as versions for Slink, Belleza and Maitreya Mesh Bodies. The top and bottom are sold separately. Another great outfit from Prism! Going to the gym I'll need a good bag and Bueno makes a fabulous one in several colors. I'm showing the pink here in the photos. After packing a water bottle and towel I turn my attention to my hair, the do called, "Jute" by Tukinowaguma is perfect for the gym. The front drawn up and away from my face, gathered so that it streams down my back. Knowing I'll change into my battered, comfy sneakers when I'm there, I slip on my "New Orleans" by Essenz shoes for the drive over. They zip up the front and come with a HUD that offers many color choices. Now I'm finally ready to hit the gym! Fashionably Yours...

"Greetings Everyone! I needed a dress for a belated celebratory birthday dinner at a festive special occasion restaurant. It was with family, so I knew I had to be able to move about and allow nieces to climb on my lap. I found the perfect dress for the occasion here on SL. It's called, "Ocean" by LUXE Paris. A lovely, sleeveless dress with a filmy skirt overlay in a delicious shade of blue, "Ocean" comes in standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and TMP mesh bodies. I love the detailed silvery beading done across the whole dress, which elevates it to something special. I also love the deep cut back, revealing the perfect amount of skin for sexy yet classy. I'm delighted to finally have tweaked the Bento Simone 2.2 Head by Lelutka into a look that resembles my default face. It's not exactly the same but I was very happy with the results. I will continue to experiment with all the Bento options as I love using mesh heads for print work including the blog. For now though I've chosen this one as it resembles my pre-mesh face best. I also like the ease of the Lelutka HUD's and their very simple and clear instructions on their website. It took me some time to learn how to tweak the sliders and I totally recommend starting with the shape it comes with when you begin. It is so much easier than trying to start from scratch with your own shape. You can always adjust the body sliders after you've tweaked the face to your liking. To go with the new look and fabulous dress is a great hair from JUMO called, "Jolie". I really am enjoying the JUMO hairstyles, they are full bodied and just dripping with sex appeal. June Monteiro knows how to do luxuriously, hot tresses. "Jolie" is combed up and over for a high crown, then swept over one shoulder. The remaining hair streaming down your back. It's perfect to pair with a base that offers a widow's peak if you like that look as I have done here. With a lavishly beaded dress like this jewelry is kept to a minimum. I've chosen several lacquered bangles in silver with etched design work from Maxi Gossamer called, "Boho Bangles". I've slipped on the "Toluca Heels" by KC Couture. These strappy sandals with hanging tassel have a HUD that allows me to match my dress exactly. My nails are done with the "Spring Nails Applier" by IP Nails. I've included a photo of the HUD so you can see the colors available in the set. Last but certainly not least I must take a purse to dinner to keep all my necessities in and the "Opera Evening Bag" in Silver by Septum Essentia fits the bill. It goes very well with the silver beading on the dress and the chain handle and tassel detail on the clasp makes it something special. I'm hungry as a bear and all set to go, can't wait to start the night with a Cosmopolitan and then maybe a nice juicy steak. Whatever I decide to have I'm sure it will be a wonderful dinner! See you soon! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

I don't believe in New Year's resolutions but I understand why we make them. I think it's because New Year's Day is the start of the new year and kind of a wipe the slate clean, do over mentality. So we push aside past failures and mistakes in one fell swoop and we promise ourselves we will change this or that or do better with this thing or that thing, or even quit this and start that....etc. For me when I have those all too rare epiphanies and I grow in some way, whatever it is I learned I want to put into effect right away. If that means being kinder and more patient with family or finding time to enjoy the little things in my workaholic past, whatever it is, it is too important to wait and it needs to be put into effect there and then. For those of you that do make New Year's resolutions though I wish you the very best luck with them! In the mean time I'm looking fabulous for the new year in Prism's "Sparkle Dress". This delightful mini dress comes with a HUD allowing you four color choices. I've included a photo below so you can see the colors, I'm wearing the blue today. The turtleneck balances the peek-a-boo opening below and the deep side cuts show exciting side cleavage. The back features criss cross straps showing an alluring amount of skin. The print reminds me of delicate dandelion fluffs that drift on the wind or the explosion of fireworks against the night sky. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes, Fitmesh, Slink and Maitreya versions. I found the perfect thigh high sexy boot to go with my dress, it's the "Baby Boot" by Kendrasy Creations. It comes in versions for Maitreya, Slink and Belleza Mesh Bodies. The HUD allows you to choose from many colors and change all or just certain parts of the boot. As always I love the versatility Kendrasy Creations offers us. My nails are adorned with "White Christmas Silver Applier" by La Boheme. A lovely, delicate design featuring snowflakes. I've added a photo of the HUD below so you can see the color choices available. I'm also sporting the "Isis Anne Teardrop Earrings, Bracelet and Ring" by Moondance Boutique. This lovely set is available right now inworld at the boutique. It has several versions within the set including clusters, dangles and the teardrops I'm wearing now. The HUD allows for texture changes on the metal, both pearls and the gems. I think it's stunning and one of my favorites! I completed my look with the "Butterfly 116" hairdo by Rezology. Parted just a bit in front and drawn artfully back with soft tendrils framing the face. Again Rezology's HUD allows us the opportunity to color to any shade, which I love. I think I'm finally ready to head off! I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year's Eve and I wish you each a fantastic 2017! See you all soon! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

I'm wearing Eyelure today. The "Laced Black Top in Pink Stripe" and "Stringle Denim Skirt" in Dirty Pink. I love Eyelures' gritty, ethnic flair. Their clothes are pretty but without being too ladylike or too pristine. The top has this wonderful laced back that has all eyes on you coming and going. Both pieces come with mesh pieces for standard sizes as well as pieces that fit Maitreya and Belleza Mesh Bodies. With it I'm wearing these fantastic thigh high boots by MUSE. Available now at Designer Showcase, these boots come with options for classic avatars, Slink, Maitreya and Belleza Mesh Bodies. There are several HUD versions which offer different choices of colors. I'm wearing Version 14 in the photos below. Also available at Designer Showcase is this great jewelry set by Moondance Boutique called, "Liz". This set is another that can be taken from day to night with opals, interchangeable stones and metal choices. I'm loving my slightly mussed, very whispy updo called "Belliza" by A&A, it is great with the outfit and frames my face beautifully. Last but not least, I've donned these fantastic nail appliers by La Boheme called "Mehndi Christmas Silver Nail Appliers". I just love them! I've included a photo of the HUD so you can see the many options of color you have. I often wish I lived in a time where women still dressed with hats for every outfit and little gloves. Honestly, I doubt I'd fit in except for the dressing but I love all things vintage and I adore the idea dressing from head to toe for all occasions from breakfast to bridge. Putting together this outfit made me feel like a lady on her way to lunch with friends and perhaps a table or two of bridge. This marvelous dress is still available for one more day at the Designer Showcase. It's called the "Jayne Pin Up Dress" by AnaMarkova. It's available in a variety of colors including the "Kisses" color I'm wearing below. You can opt for the fatpack if you wish, which I think with a dress like this, is a great idea. You'll wear this one over and over for all sorts of functions. With the dress I'm wearing the "Felt Hat in 4 Petals" by Petit Chat. It's available until tomorrow at Lost and Found and comes in two other styles, "Hearts" and "Stars". All come with a HUD for color changes for each part of the hat allowing for lots of choices. Trinity Yazimoto has done her usual great work creating this original mesh. Also by Petit Chat, available in the next round of Marvelous Events, starting the 5th of December, is this very feminine, yet completely professional "My Leather Briefcase". This designer briefcase comes in Black, Dark brown, Brown, Deep blue, Teal, Red, Grey, and the Fuschia shown below. It comes with a HUD for lots of possibilities and is perfect to tote just about anything with you. The jewelry set I'm wearing is from Moondance Boutique. It's called "Sailor Moon" and comes with necklace, earrings, and bracelet. It's not a new set but one of my favorites. As always Kathrin Dassin gives us lovely pieces we can wear for everyday as well as for those special occasions. The HUD provides plenty of different choices for the gems and metal. It can be resized as well. I've chosen to wear it in the pastel pink color to match my outfit. I'm wearing the "Maxine Mesh Head" by LAQ. My hair is a tousled short hairdo called #23 by Dura. It goes perfectly with my ensemble, with wispy pieces slipping from beneath the hat here and there. Now all I need to do is learn how to play bridge and I'm all set. Actually this outfit reminds me of something they would have worn in the movie "The Help". Great movie, if you have a chance to see it, do so. It's about life in 1950's Southern United States and the interaction between the society matrons of the day and their "help", the black maids, cooks etc. that ran their households, raised their children and cooked for their luncheons and dinner parties. The whole time being completely discreet until finally an outspoken young writer asks them to speak out about their experiences by sharing their stories with her. It's both poignant and funny, pulling a whole range of emotions from you. I loved it and highly recommend it. This outfit reminds me of something one of the young matrons would have worn to their club meeting or Tupperware party. Here's hoping hats come back in fashion someday in RL. In the meantime at least I can enjoy them on SL! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

While going through some things from Prey I was delighted to find the "Birds of Prey" outfit. Dramatic with so much flair, this outfit features a mask reminiscent of some of the Venetian ones, wings, neck corset, and feather attachments for the skirt and train. The pieces are detailed and well done and when put together the look is amazing. I headed over to Woodbury Falls to take some photos in the darker, post-apocalyptic setting. The gloomy shadows of the trees in the hazy, dark setting is awesome for dramatic photos. "Birds of Prey" comes in standard mesh sizes with alpha. It also comes with the optional attachment of the birds you see flying about me. With it I'm wearing this fabulous hairstyle called, "Bibi" by Zibska. A very interesting style sculpted into a birdcage with some whimsical inhabitants. I tinted my lipstick for my "Maxine Head" by LAQ and slipped on my "Feather Earrings" in Black by Izzie's and I was set. No further accessories needed with a dramatic outfit like this. I remember when I first started taking photos, I knew very little. I had to learn about windlights, composition, etc. I am always going to be learning as far as photography goes, there is just so many great tutorials and videos out there to help. I've already compiled quite a list of my favorites. It's fun to experiment and see what you can come up with! Styling Credits:
Hair: Bibi by Zibska Earrings: Feather Earrings in Black by Izzie's Outfit: Birds of Prey by Prey Poses: Posesion Location: Woodbury Falls Hello All! Getting ready for the holiday parties to come I came across this fabulous gown by Vero Modero called, the "Cassini Gown". This dress has a texture that reminds me of one that was worn on the red carpet a few years ago. This strapless curve hugging gown flairs at the hips with a luxuriously long train. The black sequin embellished lace is sewn over a nude lining, giving the very sensuous illusion that you aren't wearing anything beneath. I love gowns that give that type of illusion, they are sexy in such a sophisticated way! It's available with appliers for Belleza, Physique and Maitreya Mesh Bodies. With the gown I'm wearing one of my favorites from Moondance Boutique called, "Resplendent O'Hare" Jewelry Set. It includes necklace with optional gem drops at the clasp, cluster and chandelier earrings, bracelets, ring and crown. The set has always been one of my favorites and it's nice to reach for old favorites instead of what's always new sometimes. You have the option to change both gem types as well as the metal color with this fabulous set. My eyes are the "Corona Set 1" by La Boheme. I've included a photo of the HUD so you can see the choices available to you. I like the unique color and smaller pupil. I'm wearing them with the LAQ mesh head called, "Maxine". The stylish bob I'm wearing is by Due called, "Sparkle". I love the blunt, chunky cut with the slightly curled ends. Freya Dubled, creator behind Due does a wonderful job with hair textures. I was very pleased with the whole look and I will definitely be wearing it to one of my upcoming holiday events I'm sure. Right now though, I'm headed to tackle some inventory cleaning. I dread it but loving shopping the way I do you have to make room for the new. Before I do anything though I've decided to reward myself with a piece of pumpkin pie. After all I have to keep up my strength, especially with my inventory! Fashionably Yours... xox Arianna Styling Credits:

Starting out the week bringing you these great pair of "Boyfriend Jeans" by Eyelure in Grey as well as the "Halter Knit Top" also by Eyelure. It's the perfect outfit to be sitting at my computer shopping for all the good deals there are to be had out there on this day. I'm happy to say there are plenty both in RL and in SL. I do usually love to raid my guy's closet for cuddly oversized pullovers and hoodies, even boxers to sleep in but I've yet to steal his jeans. Why would you want to when Willow Markova is making the perfect cut for us in her boyfriend jean? Figure flattering with a thin leather belt the jeans come in blue and grey. The faded look and ripped patches make these jeans look super comfy. They come in standard sizes with alpha as well as versions for Belleza, Physique, and Maitreya Mesh Bodies. The top is a sexy knit halter variety that comes in all popular mesh body sizes. You have the choice of solid black or blue as well as a Ying-Yang Cat or name tag reading "Hello I'm a Unicorn" design. I'm wearing the CatWa "Bibi" Mesh Head today with a curly up-do from Analog Dog called, "Evolve" in Dark Browns. I confess I'm a mermaid fanatic! I love all things to do with the lovely mythical creatures. "The Little Mermaid" is one of my favorite movies and it was a thrill when I traveled to Copenhagen to glimpse the honorary statue of her on the waterfront as tribute to Mr. Hans Christian Andersen. The Little Mermaid was made by Danish sculptor Edward Eriksen and according to legend, the statue in Copenhagen is not the original. Rather, the original is kept at a secret location by the Eriksen heirs. In this case though going back to the movie I do think the fiendish and plotting Ursula made a fantastic villain and I love what Wicca's Wardrobe has done with this unique outfit called what else but "Ursula". It's available right now at Freakshow Carnivale 2016 until November 13th. it comes with a fantastic headpiece, mask, corset, hip attachments, fishnet tights and boots. I've shown it here in aqua but in comes in several colors. So channel your inner Ursula and pick up this great outfit by Wicca's Wardrobe today!
