In the Mood for a Party
"What is a cocktail dress? Something to spill cocktails on."
This dress is of course is way to pretty to spill anything on. It's the Miriam Dress in teal by Shey, available at the Gypset Market (187, 221, 23). The Gypset Market runs from July 6th through July 30th, 2014 with each featured designer creating an exclusive item for the event. Participating designers include: AD Creations, BSD Design, Finesmith, Gizza, Kunglers, LPD, Loovus Dzevavor, Madrid Solo, Maniac, Quintessa, Nya’s Shop, Prism, Purplemoon Creations,Sascha’s design, Shey, Shiki, Sky, Wicca’s Wardrobe and last but not least ZE. I love the deep rich color of this dress and the muted print on the skirt. The deep neckline and the pinched straps on the shoulders add interest to an otherwise basic design. I paired it with subtle jewelry but chose a flashy pair of jeweled heels in a brighter hue to pick up the color of the sash. The beautiful ocean view is the perfect backdrop for cocktails.
